Comtec acquires Atolis
Comtec has recently acquired web and technical Internet specialist Atolis as the travel technology company continues to strengthen its web services division.
For Comtec, the acquisition follows addition of web design specialist Jamber in June this year.
The acquisition of Atolis will further strengthen Comtec's existing product portfolio in the retail sector, and extend its reach. It also bolsters Comtec's Web Services Division, managed by Head of eCommerce Jerry Foot, offering Comtec clients' an end-to-end solution for their Internet needs from web design to off-the-shelf technical solutions.
Atolis Managing Director and co-founder Steve Whitson will join Comtec's management team, and the
staff will be joining as part of the arrangement.
Simon Powell, CEO, Comtec said the immediate plan is to roll out the Atolis 'Waves' web solution alongside company's own new TravelConnect system.
