Spain's clickair ties up with CarTrawler to boost its ancillary revenue
CarTrawler has signed an exclusive multi-year deal with Spanish low-cost operator clickair.
CarTrawler, a provider of car rental ancillary revenue streams for airlines, has launched the system on clickair.com. It features car rental offers from major car hire companies and is integrated seamlessly in the air booking path on clickair.com.
Jaime Lloret, VP Marketing of clickair said, "Ancillary revenue is a core part of our growth strategy, and car rental forms a significant portion of that. Offering our passengers the best possible instrument to facilitate choice was our central goal in selecting CarTrawler as our partner."
clickair started operations in October 2006. It currently serves more than 60 domestic and international routes to the British Isles, Continental Europe and North Africa from bases in Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Vigo, La Corunna and Bilbao.
