Kayak.com expands its operations in Europe

Kayak.com has announced the beta launch of its Italian site, http://www.kayak.it/.

The new site is the fifth European launch for Kayak.com, following previous roll-outs in the UK, France, Germany and Spain during 2007.

Kayak.it features flight search including the Kayak Buzz tool which displays the lowest fares to the 25 most popular destinations from any airport or city as found by other Kayak.com users.

According to Kayak, hotel and car hire search will launch later this year providing Italian holiday makers with more than 100,000 search results for hotels worldwide and information from all leading rental car companies.
