Armin Meier joins Travelport GDS

Travelport GDS has appointed Armin Meier as Chief Commercial Officer. He was previously Group Chief Executive Officer of Kuoni Travel Holding Ltd.

Meier will join the company on June 1, 2008 on a part-time basis and assume the role of Chief Commercial Officer on September 1, 2008.

Meier will have global responsibility for sales, marketing, segmentation and customer engagement for Travelport GDS, comprising the Galileo and Worldspan brands, and the IT Services and Software lines of business.

Meier will report directly to Gordon Wilson, President & CEO, Travelport GDS.

Meier succeeds Kevin Mooney in the role of CCO. Mooney left Travelport at the end of April 2008.
