Teletext set for a new £4 million marketing campaign
Teletext is to unveil a new £4 million marketing campaign on 1st March, in which TV Text information brand will focus on promoting its holiday services on digital TV and online.
The commercials, which have been created by CHI & Partners and directed by Rick Lemoine, feature the line 'With more destinations more people have gone away with Teletext Holidays'. The campaign will also be supported by print, online advertising and PR activity.
Driving the campaign is a series of new TV advertisements entitled 'Cats' featuring bored cats left at home whilst their owners are away enjoying a trip booked via Teletext Holidays. The series features a total of seven commercials all designed to communicate the range of holidays available through Teletext Holidays, as well as showcasing the digital TV and online holiday services.
Teletext Holidays will be promoting its long and short haul beach offerings alongside, cruise, city, ski and UK breaks. Featured destinations include Brazil, New York, Val d'Isere, Lake District and more.
Last year Teletext Holidays was responsible for at least 1.7 million holiday bookings via its TV service and teletextholidays.co.uk website.
Ash Makkar, Marketing Director, Teletext said: "Teletext Holidays is synonymous with analogue TV and great value holidays to short haul beach destinations in Europe. We wanted to make people understand that Teletext Holidays is now a digital brand experience that offers a more diverse range of destinations than they might expect."
Makkar added that the new campaign is fun, distinctive and really does give this strong travel brand an even more engaging personality.
