Travel Ad Network appoints Brian Silver as Chief Operating Officer

Travel Ad Network (TAN) has announced that Brian Silver, a TAN Board of Directors since earlier this year, will join the company as Chief Operating Officer, a newly created position.

Silver came to TAN from NetCash, a virtual gift card company where he has been Chief Operating Officer since 2006.

"This has been a year of extraordinary growth and achievement for TAN. We signed 18 new publishers including Kayak, Rand McNally and DK/EyeWitness Travel Guides; we launched our first video advertising campaign on LonelyPlanet.tv; we launched a UK office and grew revenue by over 50 percent," said TAN CEO Cree Lawson. "Brian has been with us every step of the way as an advisor. We now welcome him in a more hands-on position where he will help us continue to break new records for reach, income and number of advertisers."
