A user-driven tool to deliver an unprecedented virtual experience

Atlanta-based Integrative Logic has built a collection of Virtual Trip Kits that combine "cutting edge data-driven CRM with the ultimate in Web 2.0 interactive travel planning."

According to the company, which is a full-service, integrated database marketing service provider, Marriott and Renaissance Caribbean & Mexico Resorts' customers will now be able to customise their virtual travel planning experience at http://www.paradisebymarriott.com/destinations/index.htm . The website serves a group of 10 Marriott resorts in seven of the top tropical destinations in the Caribbean and Mexico, including Aruba, Curaçao, St. Kitts, St. Thomas, the Cayman Islands, Cancun and Puerto Vallarta.

"Travelers today expect a sophisticated, value-packed experience from travel providers. To that end, we have created a user-driven tool that allows Marriott to deliver an unprecedented virtual experience – and to learn from each user interaction," said John Gardner, President - Integrative Logic.

"The tools are designed to provide customised information to a variety of audiences including families, couples, baby boomers and professional travel planners. User-defined customisation is what makes this tool so valuable to Marriott and its customers."

The kits will also provide Marriott's corporate and property-level decision makers with a level of customer insight never before possible, stated the company.

"More than just an online booking tool, Marriott's Virtual Trip Kits provide users with all of the depth and value one would expect from an independent travel guide, including insider tips and printable pocket maps. Meeting planners will experience video, interactivity and event ideas tailor-made for specific groups. The only online tool of its kind, this virtual guidebook brings Marriott's resorts and destinations to life with stunning visuals, interviews with locals, and lifelike introductions to resort staff. Three of the 10 destination trip kits are available now; the remaining kits will launch through second quarter 2008."

"Integrative Logic has helped us create a tool that embodies the best of what Web 2.0 can bring to customer relationship development," said Michelle Bozoki, Director - Marketing Communications for Marriott and Renaissance Caribbean & Mexico Resorts. "The Virtual Trip kits allow Marriott to deepen its relationship with loyal customers and establish meaningful dialogue with customers who want to learn more about our Caribbean & Mexico Resorts."
