Fairmont and Pegasus strengthen ties
Pegasus Solutions has signed a deal with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts to continue providing the hotel chain with its Global Commission Services.
Referring to the travel agent community as a key partner, Jeff Senior, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Executive Vice-President, Marketing and Sales said with consolidated and timely expensing, Pegasus’ technology ensures commission payments are a seamless and efficient process - a reliability that enables the brand to maintain strong bonds with travel intermediaries worldwide.
Pegasus’ Global Commission Services streamline commission payment and collection for travel agents and travel suppliers, processing an average of $38 million in hotel commissions each month.
The company’s commission services customer base includes more than 35,000 properties as well as the majority of the world's travel agencies and travel distributors in more than 200 countries.
