Millennium & Copthorne Hotels signs deal with Expedia

Online travel company Expedia has signed a new strategic partnership with Millennium & Copthorne Hotels.

Under the terms of the agreement, Millennium & Copthorne will deploy Expedia’s Direct Connect technology, giving Expedia customers access to the complete range of hotel’s inventory and rates while providing the hotel company with faster, more accurate transactions.

“This partnership further strengthens Millennium & Copthorne’s presence in existing markets, while taking advantage of Expedia’s 32.5 million unique monthly visitors and targeted marketing programs to more effectively reach customers in new markets, particularly in Europe and North America,” said Jinou Park, vice president, global distribution and revenue management, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels.

“Our agreement with Expedia puts us in position to better serve our customers while stimulating growth through an optimised multi-channel marketing and distribution platform,” said Park.

The hotel company will benefit from Expedia’s reach and targeted merchandising opportunities.
