Qunar.com and Atnext.com sign marketing alliance
Travel search engine Qunar.com and Atnext.com have recently signed a strategic marketing alliance for the Hong Kong market.
The two companies will jointly develop and promote “Atnext Travel Search Powered By Qunar”.
Atnext.com is the online arm of Next Media Group, one of the leading Chinese media group in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The partnership will enable Hong Kong’s globetrotting travelers to utilise Qunar’s special search technology in conjunction with Atnext’s Internet portal.
As a result, consumers can search over 350 Chinese-language travel websites for the travel deals, and make online bookings directly with the vendor of their choice.
“Atnext.com is one of Hong Kong’s largest Internet portals reaching over 1.9 million unique users per month and generating over 123 million pageviews (source: Nielsen//Netratings SiteCensus August 2006). Qunar.com is China’s first and largest travel search engine. This is a partnership that will provide superior service and value to Hong Kong residents,” said Denise Peng, vice president – product, Qunar.
