Cleartrip launches Small World destination guide
Cleartrip has tied up with Lonely Planet for a digital content licencing agreement and launched a destination guide Small World.
Content for all Indian destinations has been created by Cleartrip.com’s travel writers over the last six months. Destinations can be searched by name or by browsing through a directory of continents.
Hrush Bhatt, founder and director - Ecommerce, Cleartrip said, “Planning is an integral part of travel and Small World is our way of simplifying travel planning, of making the world a smaller place. Small World gives our customers easy access to thousands of pages of high quality travel content, which they can use to plan their travel.”
“Small World is global in its scope, even though we currently sell only flights and hotels within India, Cleartrip is here to make things easy for people who want to travel. We saw that there was a lack of easy-to-find destination content, so we built Small World,” said Bhatt.
Detailed guides are available at the country and city level, offering information about the destination — sightseeing, night life, restaurant and hotel listings as well as photo galleries, maps, currency and weather information. Maps are available from Lonely Planet and Google, giving users access to detailed street level maps.
The content base will be refreshed every week to keep it up-to-date and accurate.
