Cendant TDS appoints Simon Nowroz as managing director for Asia

Cendant Travel Distribution Services (TDS) has appointed Simon Nowroz as managing director for Asia.

Previously, Mark Rizzuto spearheaded the same role. He has decided to return to Australia.

Nowroz will report directly to Gordon Wilson, president and chief executive officer - B2B International Markets.

For the past 12 months, Nowroz has been operating as acting managing director, providing Rizzuto the time to focus on important strategic opportunities in Asia. “During that time, Nowroz has helped the business grow at three times the industry average. In addition, he has been an integral part of the Asia management team and lead point man for driving business strategy,” stated a release.

Prior to his appointment as managing director, Nowroz held the position of vice president sales & markets, Asia for Cendant TDS. In his role he managed and expanded the business for Cendant TDS with significant and positive shifts in the market share in Hong Kong, Thailand and Malaysia, according to the company.
