eMarketing launches the first-ever electronic brochure for travel agents

eMarketing, an electronic marketing firm specialising in travel industry applications, has introduced what is being termed as “the first-ever electronic brochure (eBrochure) designed for travel agents”.

According to the company, the new product enables travel agents to personalise a travel provider’s eBrochure and gain edge in customising packages for its customers.

“It is often cost-prohibitive for travel agents to distribute a supplier’s marketing and promotional materials. Our new product allows travel agents to add a new dimension in reaching customers and prospects. The agent can now bookmark and deliver a given supplier’s product information immediately via email,” said Michael Goldberg, president, eMarketing.

Unique Vacations, the worldwide representatives for Sandals and Beaches Resorts, is the first travel supplier to provide this new eBrochure to the travel agent community. Unique Vacations preferred agents can take advantage of the company’s co-registration programme when using their personalized eBrochures. The agent’s unique id code is incorporated into each eBrochure. Through a simple registration process, an agent can personalise Sandals 2006 and Preston Bailey Wedding eBrochures. After registering, each agent receives a unique URL to use on their website and in their email communications. When a prospect receives and views these eBrochures, the agent’s contact information will be visible. Users will also be able to click on the link to the agent’s website for more information as well as click on a link to email the agent.

“Travel agents have various opportunities to personalise their eBrochures. They can include a linkable logo, tagline and company name as well as include their phone number, fax number, address, email address and URL. This information is delivered as part of the eBrochure and remains visible when the recipient forwards it to friends and family. When a user clicks on a link within the eBrochure, they are automatically taken to the agent’s co-branded website. In addition, the preferred agent will get credit for anyone doing an electronic booking directly from the agent’s personalised eBrochure,” stated the company.
