Air France KLM share online check-in progress

Air France and KLM customers have started offering the option of check in on the Internet for flights operating to almost all destinations on the networks of both airlines.

Bruno Matheu, executive vice president - marketing and network, Air France, said the new step in the customer service chain is part of the Group’s development strategy.

For the convenience, holders of an e-ticket can choose their seat number and print their boarding card at home or at their office. At the airport, they deposit their baggage at one of the dedicated baggage drop-off counters, or go straight to the boarding lounge. By checking in online and printing their boarding cards at home, Air France and KLM customers will save time and enjoy their trip more.

“Passengers of both airlines already benefit from a host of advantages thanks to the merger of Air France and KLM: combined network and fares, the single Flying Blue frequent flyer programme, joint lounges, online check-in, etc … It is clear that the Group will continue to take other initiatives in this area in the coming months and years,” added Paul Gregorowitsch, executive vice president – commercial, KLM.
