Travelocity Business ties up with Hyatt Hotels for special business travel rates

Travelocity Business has signed pact with Hyatt Hotels to strengthen its
suppliers list, which provides special business travel discounts to its
corporate customers.

As per the development, Hyatt Hotels offers Travelocity Business
travelers negotiated corporate rates when they choose to stay at any
Hyatt Hotels properties during business trips. Other travel suppliers
that participate in Travelocity Business' discount programme include
Best Western, Kimpton Hotels, Pegasus Solutions' Utell Properties,
AeroMexico, Frontier Airlines, Japan Airlines, Korean Air, Lufthansa,
Qantas, Avis and Hertz.

On the tie-up, Joan Lowell, vice president, electronic distribution,
Hyatt Corporation said, "Through our relationship with Travelocity
Business, we believe we can help meet the lifestyle standards and
practical needs of the business traveler. Whether it's a productivity
tool like wireless Internet access or a comfort benefit like Hyatt's new
Grand Bed, it's our intention to provide busy guests with the amenities
they want, plus little extras they wouldn't expect from a hotel."

Stating that Travelocity Business customers have access to special rates
that will make Hyatt Hotels, already a popular brand, an even more
attractive choice, Ellen Keszler, president of Sabre Holdings Corporate
Solutions said, "Strong relationships with leading suppliers like Hyatt
are what help Travelocity Business provide the broadest possible range
of cost-effective travel options to our customers."

According to Travelocity, through its supplier programme, Travelocity
Business offers companies specially negotiated air, car and hotel deals
with fewer restrictions and greater flexibility from a variety of
participating travel vendors.

"This allows corporations using Travelocity Business to provide
travelers with other low-cost options during the travel reservation
process, along with company negotiated rates. Travelocity Business also
works to identify suppliers with services and deals that cater to the
business traveler, including access to VIP lounges, Internet access, and
other amenities," says the company.

There are 211 hotels and resorts (over 90,000 rooms) in 43 countries
around the world, operating under the Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Grand Hyatt
and Park Hyatt brands. On its part, the company says it has recently
added even more amenities and services for travelers. New services
designed to enhance the traveler experience include wireless Internet
access throughout the hotels, XM Satellite Radio in all guestrooms, and
Hyatt's signature Grand Bed.
