The brandrepublic.com item predicting the demise of the
travelocity.co.uk brand and website in the United Kingdom was off the
mark.
Travelocity can state categorically that it plans to retain the
travelocity.co.uk brand and website, and any report to the contrary is
inaccurate. We have said consistently that we expect to follow a
multi-brand strategy in Europe, and particularly the United Kingdom.

will continue to be a feature of the British online travel landscape.
